The Dying Art of Danish Pastry

It was Pierre-Charles Monselet who said “The most charming hours of our life are all connected – by a more or less tangible hyphen – with a memory of the table” 1874.

Recently I read a paper by Sheth, J., Sisodia, R. & Sharma, titled The Impact of Demographic Shifts and Facilitating Technology Trends on Future Customer Behavior. It stated that “cooking is fast becoming a dying art as a third of our meals are eaten out… Of the remaining, 50% are not cooked by us at all. The kitchen is increasingly the communication center of the house rather than the food center.” Now with all that said, where, oh where are we headed?
